Who We Are
AbiGram has been developed by Yorschool: specialists in English for the German education system. At Yorschool we understand the importance of English as part of the Abitur and are very familiar with the different approaches to the English curriculum across the German states.
We are also aware of the limited time available to revise and cover all the essential grammar in the last three years; the need to develop skills in mediation, comment, analysis and literature and the common mistakes that students make in their final assessments.
This detailed knowledge and experience has enabled us develop a tried and tested method of teaching Abitur English which we call ‘The Yorschool Way’. It creates effective lesson sequences that are engaging, and successful in boosting confidence in speaking, as well as in grammar.
AbiGram incorporates The Yorschool Way in its design to enable students to practice English grammar on a daily basis. Using AbiGram, students are able to quickly improve their English grammar and maintain that improvement over time.

The basic version of AbiGram is free to download and use, providing access to three full grammar lessons: one at each teaching level. For access to the other 50+ lessons, users can opt for one of three tiered subscriptions: Beginner, Advanced or Professional. These mirror the Abitur curriculum and offer a clear progression, increasing challenge and continuous engagement.
What resources are included?
AbiGram follows a unified structure to cover all tenses and grammar units up to high school level. In each lesson there is a clearly explained grammar rule, a practical tip to help you remember them better, some examples, and then a series of detailed exercises to test comprehension.
